Scroll+ is a gamified e-book reader for Android: local EPUB and PDF reading, with optional online features such as a profile, the Nova reward, rankings, chat and Word Duel.
What it does
- Reads local EPUB and PDF files, which stay on the device and can be read offline after the first sign-in.
- Turns reading into progress with Nova rewards, characters and leaderboards.
- Offers online features on top of reading: profile, Nova, rankings, chat and Word Duel.
How it works
- Sign-in is with Google once. A PDF is uploaded only if the reader chooses server processing, and it is deleted afterwards.
- The app is free to download and shows ads; one-time ad-free access and monthly or yearly memberships are optional.
Who it is for
Readers who want a reason to open their book every day, and who prefer their files to stay on their phone.
